At Talk Play Grow we provide speech pathology services to children aged birth to 18 years. We can help your child:

Talk Play Grow provides the following services:
Comprehensive assessments
An initial assessment is required to determine the nature of your child’s difficulties and develop goals for therapy. The duration of the session is usually 90 minutes. It includes feedback to parents/caregivers.
Individual therapy sessions
Therapy sessions are individually tailored based on the goals developed collaboratively by you and your therapist. The duration may be 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending upon the nature of your child’s difficulties.
Telehealth sessions
Sessions can be conducted using the internet for families who have barriers to accessing the clinic. These sessions are the same as our individual therapy sessions except you and your child will interact with your therapist via a computer or tablet with internet access.
Home/Preschool/School visits
Assessment, therapy, observations and professional training sessions can be conducted at your home or your child’s preschool or school (with their permission). The duration of these visits varies depending on their purpose and frequency. A travel charge will be incurred based on the number of kilometres to be travelled by your therapist.
Group programs
Group therapy programs are offered throughout the year during school holidays. Each program aims to strengthen a specific set of skills such as early language, social skills, handwriting or reading. The duration of the groups varies depending upon the skills being strengthened. All group programs include parent information packs and home materials. The groups currently on offer are:

Assessment and progress reports
Reports detailing a child’s assessment results, strengths and areas for improvement and progress over time are provided upon request.
As the services at Talk Play Grow have a strong focus on developing the skills of parents and carers to carry over therapy into their child’s everyday life it is necessary that a parent or carer is present at every session (excluding groups).
